Ellie Cudmore | Play and Creative Arts Therapist

I have a first class honours degree in Education Studies and spent 12 years as a primary school teacher here in beautiful Cornwall.

Throughout my career in education, I witnessed first hand the pressure on our young people, a declining resilience to cope with life’s challenges and a sharp rise in mental health concerns. I knew I wanted to move in the direction of a career that would allow me to help children and young people more holistically. I wanted to provide a more focused support for those children who were experiencing challenges in their life.

In 2019 I decided to leave my then post as Head of School, and embark upon a Diploma in Play & Creative Arts Therapy with PTUK. In my work as a professional Play Therapist I help children of all ages to thrive, building a secure foundation of who they are and the worth they have within so that they can move forwards healthier and happier.

I am committed to holding space for deep healing so that my clients may develop confidence and resilience, celebrating their uniqueness and reaching their full potential. I feel privileged to work with young people from all over Cornwall, witnessing the true change that Play Therapy can bring about.

Over the last couple of years, my work has broadened to encompass supporting the parent-child relationship, nurturing secure attachment, with my passion for supporting Mothers in particular.

Kelly Kennedy | Holistic Health Therapist

I have worked in the holistic health field for over 21 years now, holding many qualifications and certifications in various healing modalities including, Reiki, holistic massage, acupressure massage, crystal therapy, angel card mastery, sound therapy and Shamanic practices.

Alongside working as a therapist, I used to work in early years education as a teaching assistant where one of my roles included supporting children with additional and educational needs. Whilst working in early years I gained my qualifications in early childhood development and playwork, going on to gain my FdA Degree in early childhood education. I saw first hand how more and more children were suffering with the challenges of everyday life and schooling, and as a result showing mental health concerns at a younger age. I found the school system challenging myself, so I started my own practice as a full time holistic health practitioner.

Over the past 12 years I have worked on many wellbeing retreats. I have really deepened my practice throughout my constant learning and currently run wellness days, sacred meditation sessions and provide private wellness sessions for clients.

I am dedicated to helping everyone to heal on a deeper level. I believe that listening, connection and communication is fundamental in assisting the healing process for both children and adults alike.
